1929 NC Inspection Sticker (Estimate)

This North Carolina Windshield sticker is our estimation of what the NC stickers looked like from 1929 to 1947.  

  We designed these stickers to appear as they probably were originally as the ones we do have have almost no changes except for the dates. 

It is unlikely that NC had inspections before 1929 since Pennsylvania appears to be the first state to open inspection stations in 1928. Many states had inspections on lights, horn and brakes as far back as 1920 (California and NY) when the cars were registered.

NC began official  inspections that we can verify in 1948 and 1949. We do have authentic reproductions for 1948, 1949 and recreations up to 1986.

We are looking for original stickers not displayed here. We will pay $25.00 for a fair or better condition sticker or will give a reproduction sticker for a photo or scan of both sides of an original.

This sticker has our patented "Peel and Stick" format which allows you to attach it to the inside of your windshield.
