1931 New Jersey Safety Check Inspection Sticker

 This 1931  New Jersey Inspection Sticker seems to ignore the fact that NJ actually opened the first inspection station in 1938.

There were roadside inspections back then for brakes and lights, and a safety sticker similar to this one was issued to cars that failed and were repaired, also used car dealers offered them to show their vehicles were safe.
