Florida began statewide inspections at the latest in 1967 with a colorful and attractive Inspection sticker
We would pay for any original Florida sticker (or a sticker from any state) not appearing on this web site.
Various cities had inspections in Florida as far back as the 1950's.
They also had what was called "Safety Check" Random checking. A car passing this random roadside inspection would receive a safety check sticker.
Statewide inspections ran from 1967 into the mid 80's before discontinuing them.
This has been carefully recreated from an original someone sent us. Having a newer sticker we took some liberties with this one believing we are correct.
Issued in 1968-69, it expired in December of 1969.
It has our patented "Peel and Stick" format which allows affixing to your inside windshield.
For an additional $10.00 we can add your antique license plate number to the front of this sticker where the serial number now appears.
