Florida apparently began official statewide Inspections in 1969 and continued until 1982 where they discontinued them altogether. However different areas of Florida had safety inspections as far back as 1946 that we are aware of.
This 1950 safety inspection sticker we are told was used by car dealers and garages that repaired vehicles.
