1946 Florida Safety Check inspection sticker

Florida apparently began statewide Inspections in 1969 and continued until 1982 where they discontinued them altogether. However different areas of Florida had safety  inspections as far back as 1946 that we are aware of.

For stickers older than 1946 go to our World War II folder for our Gas Ration stickers and stamps that were required for all vehicles.

This 1946 safety inspection sticker we are told was used by car dealers and garages that repaired vehicles.

It has a patented "Peel and Stick" adhesive format to adhere to the inside windshield.

It can also be ordered with your license plate number in place of the serial number for $10.00
