1958 Connecticut Inspection Sticker

This 1958 Connecticut windshield sticker was created directly from an original.

Unfortunately, while this sticker is precise and accurate in detail, the original we took it from was badly faded forcing us to replicate the color.

We hope to make any needed correction in the color as soon as possible. In the meantime this sticker is otherwise an excellent replica of the 1958 Connecticut sticker.

Connecticut stickers are incredibly rare as they were not issued on a year to year basis.

From the mid 50's thru the late 60's at least, in order to get license plates the car would be inspected at the MV department and if approved, a one time sticker would be placed on the car.

It was not required to be renewed and in most cases they were soon scraped off the windshield.

We have discovered a few of these stickers and have restored and reproduced them for Connecticut drivers,
