This awesome 1945 gas ration tax stamp was issued to everyone with an automobile after paying a one time tax fee of $5.00
We have finally obtained two different stamps after several years of searching.
This 1945 Federal tax sticker has been meticulously restored and reproduced front and back, identical to the originals.
Slightly larger than your average postage stamp, this sticker measures 1 1/2 x 2 inches.
It was to be placed on the front windshield next to the A gas ration sticker everyone was required to have.
