This 1963 California classic windshield Inspection sticker was introduced late in 1963 and was used by the California Highway Patrol at roadside stops. The original stickers were placed on the outside of the car mainly because the stickers were originally aimed at rogue motorcycle owners.
CHPS (California Highway Patrol) continued inspections until 1977.
We have made the stickers to go on the outside of the windshield to maintain authenticity.
It is made of a waterproof vinyl to protect against the weather
This sticker identifies the year of your car where the original 1963 did not, the original did not show the year. The sticker is otherwise a perfect replica of the original.
For an additional $5.00, we can send you a sticker with the adhesive on the front to attach it to the inside of your windshield.
