This 1940 First Period New Jersey Inspection sticker was nearly identical to the 1939 but the color changed.
This sticker was restored and reproduced identical to the original both front and back. It was issued during the first six months of 1940 and expired in six months. The expiration date and the owners license plate number appeared side by side on the original, in the main panel in front.
It has our patented "Peel and Stick" format which allows for attaching to the inside of your windshield, on the passenger side.
The originl was a water slide decal with no back but we have reproduced them in todays sticker format.
For an additional $10.00 your own License plate number can be added to this sticker. The original did have the license plate number on it.
Thanks to Albert Lewis, Millville, NJ for providing the original of this sticker.
