00 New Jersey FAILED REJECTION Sticker 1950s

This sticker is 2 1/2 inches on each side and was introduced in 1956 when NJ changed the style of it's stickers to the size still used today

It was used until 1960 when the newer sticker that resembles a stop sign was introduced.

The T shown on the sticker was "TEMPORARY" and the owner had 21 days to have the car repaired and re-inspected.
