This 1967 Indiana safety check windshield Inspection sticker was reproduced from a newly discovered inspection sticker the Indiana state police, car dealers and service stations used from 1950 until the first Indiana inspection stations opened in 1968. If a car was stopped with defective equipment, derivers were required to have the car fixed and received this sticker.
In late 1968, Indiana opened its first state inspection station and inspections took place yearly until Indiana suspended inspections in the late 1980's.
This has our patented "Peel and Stick" format to place sticker on the inside passenger side of your windshield.
