This is a tax sticker, in 1945 there was a seperate inspection sticker. All cars in the Chicago area were required to have this sticker in the windshield.
Approximately 3 1/2 inches long by 2 inches high.
Illinois did not have state inspections like most other states for very long. It did have them in many individual locations (See our other IL stickers)
This sticker is that "something different" to add a finishing touch to your classic vehicle.
