1938 New Jersey's FIRST Inspection Station Sticker

Inspections in New Jersey date back many years as roadside inspections and

voluntary "Safety Check" inspections existed.

The first New Jersey  Inspection stations were opened in 1938.

As far back as 1936 NJ announced that they would open stations in 1938. The first station was opened in Millville late in 1938 but most stations in NJ were not opened until early 1939.

This sticker is a true reproduction of an original 1938 sticker.

Thanks to Albert Lewis, Millville NJ who provided the original image for this sticker (2008).

This sticker was restored and reproduced identical to the original both front and back.

It has our patented "Peel and Stick" format which allows for attaching to the inside of your windshield, on the passenger side.

Your own personal License plate can be issued on this sticker for an additional $10.00.
