1948 Louisiana Safety check inspection sticker

From 1946 to 1951 these safety inspection stickers were used for roadside inspections.

In 1948, when a car was found with defective equipment this sticker was placed on the vehicle

after repair by the garage.

Used car dealers also used this sticker to signify a safe car.

These stickers were used at least from 1946 to 1951
